HUFLIT welcomes international students from partner and non-partner institutions to join our exchange and study abroad programs. To be eligible, students must meet the following entry requirements:

1. Academic Requirements

• Complete at least one year of full-time study at your home university.

• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

2. English Language Proficiency

An English certificate is not required for the application.
However, students should demonstrate an intermediate level of English proficiency to fully participate in classes and campus activities. This is recommended to be equivalent to:

• IELTS 6.0

• TOEFL ITP 500

• TOEFL iBT 60

Note: This requirement does not apply to the Vietnamese Language and Culture Program, which is taught in Vietnamese for beginners.

3. Additional Notes

• Some courses may have prerequisites.

• Students from partner universities should follow nomination procedures set by their home institution.
